2011+ Sticking clutch pedal fix

Does anyone know why this spring is on the GT's and not the GT500's? After doing this mod, does the clutch pedal feel different?

Look under the dash and compress the clutch a few times. You will see that at a certain point the spring hits what i would call a bind point. You can actually buy the GT500 clutch pedal assembly or just modify yours to be similar to the GT500. As midnight said your clutch engagement will feel firmer without the helper spring.
