Default Official GTA 5 thread

It's almost time for the new GTA game to be released and I thought we should have one thread dedicated to it. Everyday there is new info coming out about the game now. There is SO much to do in the game its really getting overwhelming quickly. At the very least there is 30 or more side activities/hobbies you can do to kill time when you aren't doing missions.

The game has a new engine, mechanics for shooting/taking cover (thank god!)

Keep in mind, GTA5 is FIVE times the size of Red Dead Redemption! It's HUGE. This game is bigger than the last two games combined.

The game has three central characters and are independent from eachother. They all they their own stuff, money, houses, stories etc.

1. Base Jumping
2. Hunting
3. Tennis
4. Golf (Full 9 hole golf course)
5. Shooting range (increase your skills and earn guns)
6. Scuba diving (search for buried treasure and watch out for sharks!)
7. Cycling
8. Jet skiing
9. Stock market (earning money)
10. Stunt plane trials
11. Liquor store & ATM robberies (earning money)
12. Investment properties (with perks like if you buy a Taxi company you never pay for a taxi ride again or you must buy a Helipad in order to buy a helicopter)
13. Random world events (hitch hikers, stranded motorists, abandoned cars with dead bodies in the trunk you can investigate to open a bigger mission)
14.Bounty Hunting
15. Random character encounters
16. Strip Clubs
17. Taking pictures
18. Triathlons
19. Bus tours
20. Arms trafficking
21. Car races
22. Buying car
23. Modifying cars in more ways than ever before. (bulletproof tires are rumored)
24. Clothes customization
25. Tattoos
26. Haircuts
27. Pets (some will be attack pets)
28. Yoga
29. Assassination missions

Rumored additional missions some that were in the previous game -

-casinos (poker, slots etc)
-bowling
-darts
-billiards
-ATV'n

Guns are now customizable too.

Police missions

More radio stations than ever, including Dubstep which will make Dale happy. lol.

Whew...so much to do! This game will save me a lot of money from going out and wasting money on other things since I will be buried in this game awhile!

**EDIT**

New GTA Online Trailer!

Even though ive played all the prior series, im so pumped for this game release.

One thing i didn't see mentioned above that im curious about is online mutiplayer. Certainly single player has an intoxicating amount of activities and missions, but gotta have mutiplayer every now and again.

This game is gonna be such a time kill.

Not much has been released about the multiplayer yet. I imagine they will slowly be releasing a few tidbits each week as we get closer to the release date to build up the hype. Like you, I'm really curious about MP and excited about this new game!

Yeah. It's hard to beat the online playing on Xbox Live.

Here is a list of everything with a motor and some things without. Planes, trains, automobiles, bikes, motorcycles, jets, jet skis, atvs, boats etc.

Will you still be able to fuck hookers and then beat them up to get your money back?

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

Lol. I would go several steps further than just beating them up and retrieving my refund. Things that I'm not proud of.

I just found a lil tidbit hint from a insider at Rockstar that somewhere in the ocean is a treasure to have millions of dollars in it. The problem with it is that it moves around because there is NPC's also treasure hunting. When the NPC finds it, it's gone for a period of game time and reappears somewhere randomly.
