Default DirtyD's Photo Thread...Ongoing...

Shane gets credit for this idea.

I'm by no means a pro, or even an amatuer at photography, but still a learning novice.

Most of the pics in the first couple of posts will be pics I have taken a good while ago, after I first got my camera. I'll update it with ones I think are the better ones, but you can look at my Flickr page if you want to see more.

Almost everything was shot with my Canon XTi and kit lenses (18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS). Editing PP through Lightroom 3 & 4/Photoshop.

Thanks, guys. I do what I can with what I have. My old roommate taught me a few tricks while i lived with him for 2 years. He was photo editor of the UTA paper and now does freelance for Dallas Morning News and The Star Telegram.

This shot was my first attempt at using Neutral Density filters to slow down the shutter speed during daytime shots...

Me too. LOL. We were literally walking down an alley in London because we were lost, and I saw it, and just took a pic out of curiousity. Plus my architecture background loved it. LOL
