It's not hard to fathom really. With stock exhaust these cars are quiet as a Toyota Camry! lol.

Yeah, some of these new 5.0's are crazy loud like NASCAR loud. I don't know how they can drive it like that.

I'm one of those guys. Long tubes, off road x muffler deletes, just the factory resonators still in place. It's ridiculously loud at WOT, but just has a nice deep rumble while cruising.

That's me too...it's crazy loud...

I raced a new lightly modded Camaro on the way home yesterday from Cars and Coffee. I gave him a car and a half jump and still beat him by two buses. I have no respect for the Camaros. Bring on the vettes...

If you say so. I've never run a '10+ Camaro SS that could even come close. Even the ZL1s I've seen at the track run high 7s at 90, same as my stock GT.

I'm sure there are fast SS Camaros out there, but a "lightly modded" one will probably not do well against a 5.0.

You ran high 7's at 90 mph stock?

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

Well, with 20" drag radials, although my 60s aren't anything to write home about.

Mine is car 94. Car 72 is a GT500 on the same tires

There are three columns of my runs. I had him until I lowered his air pressure and coached him on the burnout. It was a 2013 convertible btw.

Those are pretty decent times. My 60' times aren't worth a shit either. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I was talking about your car being in high 7's and at 90 mph.
