HIDs in Aftermarket Headlamps Question

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT put HID bulbs into aftermarket headlights unless you know they can in fact handle HIDs. Most of those aftermarket housings are made from non-heat treated plastic and typically the projector lenses aren't glass. If you are really wanting HID projector performance, just spend the money for a retrofit kit. It may not be the cheapest route, but you will end up with OEM performance at a much cheaper price.
