Boss manifold is highly overrated. My car made 435/420 with the stock manifold, long tubes, JLT CAI and custom tune from GH, while it was still n/a. I shifted that combo at 7250 with a 7400 soft rev limit and ran 11.50's. Unless that intake is near free, I'd pass.

Car ran good, but there are a lot with similar mods that go faster than mine.

Curious as to whether the power was still building up there downtime?

There couldn't have been much left, but it was still pulling a bit. We did a 7400 limit when it was blown the first time too. Eye opening when you shift 650 hp that high.
